November 2018: The Summer of Love was a social phenomenon that occurred during the summer of 1967 where as many as 100,000 young people, sporting hippy fashions converged in San Francisco’s neighborhood of Haight-Ashbury. We celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love by transforming the ballroom into a tribute to the 1960s, complete with love and peace signs, protest signs, giant flowers and tie die backdrops. We even had a bubble artist that put people into bubbles. The Back Pages Band rocked 1960s tunes as people got down to the beat. Psychedelic Man!
