My husband and I are, and always have been, passionate about entertaining and event planning. We have been planning professional and personal social events for more than 20 years – the event closest to our hearts was our wedding weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. We left our very successful careers on Wall Street to focus more on our passion – Event Planning and Destination Management. We have had the fortune of traveling all over the world making friends at each stop along the way. Whenever we travel, we soak in the culture and seek out the hottest new restaurants and venues allowing us to throw even more fabulous themed parties. Our passion for travel combined with an eye for design and flare, help us provide a “wow” factor that will make your event something that you and your clients, and/or family and friends will be talking about for years to come.

I have attended a number of events that Tim and Faith have hosted over the years, including the Beatles-themed party in 2015. The party was wonderful – from the food (all inspired by Beatles songs like Sargent Peppers Chicken, Magical Mystery Meatballs, and Yellow Submarines made out of Twinkies) to the music (they were able to procure a famous Beatles cover band called the Sponge tones), to the décor (an old fashioned British phone booth, 60s inspired floral arrangements and records hanging throughout the venue) — these two are the real thing when it comes to event planning. On another occasion (my birthday!), they arranged for a parade with my family and friends down Bourbon Street in New Orleans — unbelievable experience. They had a banner made that was carried down the street by friends that said Happy Birthday Scott – with the number of days that I have been alive on it (this will remain a secret)! The parade had a police escort and a live marching band. So much fun and something that I will remember for the rest of my life.

The 2015 Novant Health Foundation Oyster Roast was a very large and complex undertaking. Smashingly Events came and saved the day for our event! We were working with another event company, who failed to perform deliverables.
